- About Jose Silva
Jose Silva of Laredo, Texas established the World Number 1 Silva Mind Control Training System, after 22 years of research. He started his research in 1944 by studying psychology in an effort to improve grades of his children in school. This led to the study of hypnosis which led him to the study of meditation. He studied great minds and started developing his method. Eventually he developed a system that could teach anyone to develop their own intuition. In 1966 the trainings came to public eye. Ever since, his work continued to grow and people from all walks of life - businessmen, athletes, artists, singers, doctors, etc have benefited from his programs.
Jose Silva passed away in 1999. Just before that he introduced "the ultimate of the ultimate" system which he called the Silva UltraMind ESP System. This system in a nutshell guides the person through various steps to obtain guidance from higher intelligence to fulfill the mission of life. According to Jose Silva, "This is the course I have wanted to teach since the beginning, however, humanity was not ready back then."

- What is The Silva UltraMind ESP System?
The human brain is a big storehouse of information. This information is accessed to take any decisions in life - smaller decisions or larger decisions. The proper storage and retrieval of this information is crucial to making the correct decision.
The human brain emits an energy which can be measured by an equipment called ElectroEncephaloGraph (EEG). The brain cycles at around 20 cycles/sec, called Beta frequency, when you are awake and active and it cycles at around half a cycle/sec, called Delta frequency, when you are in your deepest sleep. Jose Silva did a lot of research on the brain frequencies of individuals when they were posed with decision making situations or questions. He found that 90% of people would give answers with their brain being at the Beta level. However 10% of the people, when posed with decision making questions, would lower their brain frequency to around 10 cycles/sec, called Alpha frequency or the Centre, search for the answer and then come back to 20 cycles/sec and give the answer. This indicated that more information is available at the Alpha frequency of the brain. He then noticed a pattern in the 10% of the people. These people were successful people!!!
He then developed techniques and exercises by which any person could reach the Alpha level and hence become more successful.
